Biography of Past Chairman
ONDO DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE GETS NEW CHAIRMAN
Chief CFG Akinwolemiwa, a chartered accountant, seasoned administrator and community leader per excellence has been appointed as the chairman of Ondo Development Committee, ODC by the Osemawe in Council.
Chief Akinwolemiwa was born over 70 years ago in Ondo. He had his primary education at St. Patricks School, Yaba, Ondo and Secondary Education at the prestigious Aquinas College, Akure, Ondo State.
He attended University College Hospital, Ibadan briefly for Medical Laboratory Technology Course, later proceeded to the famous Yaba College of Technology between 1968 and 1971 to qualify as associate of Certified and Corporate Accountant.
In pursuance of more knowledge, he obtained Post Graduate Diploma in Oil and Gas Accounting levels I and II from the North Texas University, USA in 1989 and obtained certificate in Crude Oil Trading in the year 2000. He holds a Bachelor Degree in theology from Life Theology Seminary, Lagos.
He was a partner with Peak Magwick Ani Ogunde, KPMG at retirement in 2004 and later a senior partner in OAK Group of Companies till date.
He was elected to Ondo State House of Assembly for eight ( years, representing Ondo East Local Government Area and chaired the Finance and appropriation Committee.
Hon. Chief Akinwolemiwa belongs to several social bodies among which are; Club 011, Ondo Club De Executive, Ondo Ambassadors Unity Club and Association of Ondo Clubs, Lagos where he served either as President or Chairman. He is the current president of Ondo Club 75 and vice president of inner circle club.
Hon. Chief Akinwolemiwa is a past chairman of public practice section of The Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria, ICAN and immediate past chairman of ICAN faculty of Consulting and Information Technology. He retires as a licensed Minister of the Foursquare Church in Nigeria.
Hon. Chief Akinwolemiwa is happily married to pastor Mrs. Oluwayomi Modupe Akinwolemiwa, former Lagos State Auditor General/Permanent Secretary and immediate past Chairperson of Lagos state Audit Service Commission.
